Low testosterone is no joke. It can result in sexual dysfunction, increased fatigue, decreased strength, body swelling, and sleep disturbances, amongst a whole host of other negative effects. There's no way to sustain your peak level of testosterone forever. Aging makes sure of that for all of us. However, there are ways you can keep your testosterone from bottoming out. Many people don't know that diet is a key factor in the production, or lack of production, of testosterone. There are many foods that are deadly to your testosterone, and you should know about them so you can avoid them as you craft your meal plan. What follows are 10 of these testosterone killing foods. Join us as we dive deep into dangerous waters before we surface with knowledge that will keep your testosterone levels healthy. Be Mindful With These 10 Testosterone Killing Foods There's a spectrum of testosterone annihilation. Not all of these foods are deadly in proper amounts, but you should be careful when ingesting all of them. Watch your intake, and if you're at risk for low testosterone, make sure you consult with your doctor or nutritionist when incorporating them into your diet. Take notes. 1. Too Much Protein "No way!" you say. "Too much protein lowers testosterone? It can't be!" We know it seems counterintuitive. Culturally, we're programmed to correlate protein with muscle building and muscles with masculinity, strength, and all of the other connotations of high testosterone. This suggestion is definitely a controversial one. There are people much smarter than we are who interpret the data in sometimes conflicting ways. But we've seen the correlation too much to ignore it. Some studies have shown a correlation between lower production of testosterone and higher levels of protein in the diet. There may not be evidence to suggest that the protein is the cause of that low level of testosterone, but the correlation is noteworthy. The takeaway? Make sure you're eating the right amounts and kinds of protein in your diet so that your food can work with your testosterone rather than against it. 2. Flax Seeds We'll admit it's bold to put flax products this high on our list. There are definitely testosterone killing foods lower on the list with much greater effects. But flax seeds are a superfood of the moment, and it's important to be cautious when it comes to any dietary fads. The plus side most flax seed fans tout is the high amount of omega-3s they contain. Which is true, they are high in omega-3s, but so are plenty of other foods. The downside of flax is most everything else about it. The food is estrogenic, so much that doctors use it to combat testosterone in female patients with excess body hair. If you need an estrogen boost, go for flax seeds. If you want to keep your testosterone intact, steer clear. 3. Alcohol This is the big one, the mother of all suggestions. Reduce your alcohol consumption. You've seen this tip on all sorts of food and beverage guides. While alcohol may create good times in the short term, there's no getting around the fact that it is a poison to our bodies. That includes killing our testosterone levels. One scientific study showed that when rats consumed a diet with 5% of its calories coming from alcohol, their testicles shrunk by 50%. In human terms, that's half a beer a day. The way alcohol reduces your testosterone is through the addition of stress to your system. We all know stress is a destroyer of health, and the added stress limits your body's ability to produce testosterone. Especially damaging are the hops in beer, which can keep the liver from removing excess estrogen and phytoestrogens. Not only does alcohol take a toll on your body's testosterone levels over the long haul, it can also impact your libido before sex, as many men know. 4. Mint If we're talking about reducing stress, eliminating mint feels like the wrong way to go. While a nice peppermint tea is soothing, there might be other tea options you should seek out if you're looking to keep your testosterone up. A 2004 study showed that one cup of peppermint tea could lower testosterone levels by 23%, and a cup of spearmint tea could do even more damage, lowering levels by 51%. While the damage these drinks do to your system isn't permanent, it can be sustainably harmful if you keep your mint tea habit up on a daily basis. 5. Soda, Especially Diet Soda So continues the beverage portion of our list. We don't need to tell you soda isn't good for you, even and especially diet soda. When it comes to your testosterone, regular soda can decrease it by encouraging the kind of weight gain that is so frequently associated with lower testosterone levels. Diet soda is a particularly bad fit for those at risk for low testosterone. That's because the artificial sweeteners affect your serotonin levels. Not only does serotonin positively correlate with your sense of happiness and well-being, but low serotonin correlates with lower libido. On top of all that, the plastic bottles soda are often made with phthalates, which can have estrogen-like properties. All the thumbs down on soda. 6. Marijuana We'll admit this one is a bummer. There are plenty of links between cannabis and sex that it's frustrating to hear marijuana may have negative effects on one of the main sex hormones. But it's true, marijuana can decrease testosterone for up to 24 hours after you use it. Since we mentioned the sugar in soda leading to weight gain, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention edibles here. Gummies, cookies, and brownies are all sugar-rich foods, and if that's how you consume your marijuana, your testosterone is doubly at risk. You'll note we mention marijuana here, the kind with active THC, and not every aspect of the plant. As far as we know, your CBD oil and hemp protein powder are still safe. 7. Chocolate Does it seem like we're just coming after everyone's favorite foods? We promise that's not our aim. It's not that chocolate is entirely bad for you. It's just this one area of your health that can suffer if you eat too much of it. As we mentioned before, some of these foods in moderation won't completely destroy your testosterone. Many people think chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is an aphrodisiac, but consuming chocolate in more than moderate quantities can suppress testosterone levels. You don't have to curtail your chocolate nibbling entirely. Just eat it wisely and sparingly. 8. Licorice Many people hate licorice, so foregoing this candy might be a lot easier than giving up chocolate. However, licorice's lovers are a fervent bunch, so it bears relaying the message that this is another sugary food that can kill testosterone completely separate from its sugar content. The ingredient in licorice that attacks testosterone is glycyrrhizic acid, which is what gives licorice its distinct flavor. Glycyrrhizic acid is powerful in its ability to block testosterone production in the Leydig cells. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine showed drastic reductions in testosterone in men who consumed licorice. Their subjects' testosterone dropped by around 50% in just a few days. And this wasn't some sort of concentrated licorice extract made specifically for the study. These subjects were eating store-bought licorice. So watch out because the testosterone poison is hiding in plain sight. 9. Soy It may be a large part of many vegan bodybuilders' diets, but soy can wreak havoc on testosterone. There are all sorts of compounds within it that can have this effect. Some of these compounds are called isoflavones, which exert estrogenic effects on your body. Others are called goitrogens. These negatively impact the thyroid and your metabolism. Since a low-functioning thyroid is one cause of low testosterone in men, you can see how consuming soy milk or edamame can correspond to the dysfunction of low testosterone. There are also compounds call anti-androgens in soy. These compounds work even more directly to suppress testosterone. It's easy enough to avoid soy supplements and choose a cleaner, more testosterone-friendly protein, but there are sneaky ways for soy to appear in your diet, like the aforementioned edamame. Maybe stick to miso soup when it comes to Japanese/Chinese appetizers. The poison cherry on the top of the soy sundae is the level of processing that accompanies soybeans in the United States. Any foods that are too heavily processed will wear down your testosterone significantly. That brings us to our last food item on the list. 10. Donuts, Nachos, French Fries We realize this is three foods, but we're actually using this category to cover for a whole lot more foods, including fast food and pretty much anything that is deep fried. These foods have a multi-pronged, cumulative effect on testosterone production. Let's count the ways they kill it. Vegetable Oils Many of these foods come fried in vegetable oils, which are testosterone killers of the highest order. These oils decrease thyroid function, which we've already talked about, and they also lower testosterone directly. Plus, one of the main vegetable oils is soybean oil, and we've already talked about the damage soy can cause. Vegetable oils are so damaging because they are polyunsaturated fats. This means they are easily broken and denatured with light, heat, and oxygen. When these elements denature the fat in vegetable oil, the oil becomes toxic to the body from a nutritional standpoint. Saturated and monounsaturated fats can actually boost your testosterone, but when the fat you're getting is polyunsaturated, your testosterone is at risk. These unhealthy fats are also going to increase your cholesterol levels over time, and that can do damage to your testosterone in and of itself. Processing These fun foods also suffer from the processing concerns of soy. Many of them are made with low-quality ingredients, and the animals that become burgers especially come injected with all sorts of antibiotics and growth hormones over the course of their lives. None of these additional "ingredients" are going to benefit your testosterone. Weight Gain We could go on about the testosterone killing effects of some of our favorite foods forever, but we'll end our discussion of them by once again referring to weight gain. If there is something you need to cut out of your diet to lose weight, you're always going to start with these foods. As tasty as they are, french fries and donuts will cause weight gain if not eaten extremely sparingly. In fact, it's almost because they are so tasty that they come with such a large warning. Preserve the Power of Your Supplements By Avoiding These Foods As you can see, our grocery stores and restaurants are full of testosterone killing foods, from fun ones like french fries and chocolate to the easier to avoid like licorice and flax seeds. Hopefully, you come away from this guide with an idea of the foods you should avoid when you want to keep your testosterone high or build it up from low levels if you've tested low for testosterone in the past. There are a lot of highly desirable foods on this list, but as long as you're smart with your consumption of them, you should be able to mitigate any testosterone-killing effects. Our suggestions apply as well for women as they do for men. After all, women need testosterone too. If you want even more solutions for women, check out our female-friendly supplements.
Did you know that you can use some medications for a multitude of issues? Pharmaceutical companies typically target one group of users for marketing reasons and/or because they can legally only market the drug for the ailments the FDA approves it for. However, active mechanisms usually affect multiple bodily functions. People often think of Cialis for its indicated use as a drug to treat erectile dysfunction. But Cialis uses do not end there. There are many off the shelf uses for Cialis that may surprise you. Alternative Cialis Uses Cialis offers many medical benefits not listed on the package. Read on to learn 11 alternative uses for Cialis that you didn't know. 1. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia Considering the function that Cialis typically helps with, it is not too surprising that doctors found they can use Cialis for prostate issues. More specifically, the drug can treat benign prostatic hyperplasia. This condition typically occurs in men over the age of 50, causing the prostate to enlarge which creates problems with urination. Cialis works to reduce the size of the prostate by relaxing vascular supply in both the bladder and prostate. Essentially, this means that blood flows through more easily, creating less of a pressure buildup in the area. Less pressure means less swelling. 2. Inflammation Cialis reduces the c-reactive protein measure in the bloodstream by preventing cytokine storms created by our bodies immune system. The little proteins, cytokines, get sent out by our immune cells to protect our body, creating an inflammatory response. Sometimes, our bodies overreact a little, creating a storm and painful inflammation. By preventing the flow of the proteins through the blood, Cialis stops the body from signaling an inflammatory response. 3. Bodybuilding One of the other uses for Cialis includes boosting workouts and improving bodybuilding results. Let's look at the two biggest mechanisms of the drug that does this. First, as a vasodilator, the drug increases blood flow throughout the entire body. This improves the functionality of the body and therefore workout performance by carrying ample amounts of oxygen and nutrients to the muscles and organs. Second, liquid Cialis increases Nitric Oxide in the body. Experts believe this encourages greater muscle growth because Nitris Oxide regulates hepatocyte growth factor. Hepatocyte growth factor serves as a mitogen that stimulates the growth of many types of cells, so it is thought to stimulate muscle growth. 4. Altitude Sickness Researchers found that tadalafil, the active component in Cialis, can decrease the symptoms of altitude sickness including, shortness of breath, nausea, fatigue, and headache. This makes perfect sense, as these symptoms come from the fact that altitudes over 8,000 feet do not provide us with enough oxygen for our bodies to function normally. Cialis improves circulation. This means that our red blood cells carry more oxygen throughout our bodies to our cells. Basically, Cialis allows a person at an extreme altitude to utilize more of the available oxygen and therefore reduces the symptoms caused by oxygen depletion in the body. 5. Hypertension Fun fact: originally researchers developed Cialis (tadalafil) to treat high blood pressure. Tadalafil targets PDE5, inhibiting its activity. PDE5 breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate, which works in the body to keep the blood vessels open and relaxed. Because PDE5 breaks down the vasodilator, the blood vessels constrict, causing an increase in blood pressure. When Cialis inhibits the PDE5, it allows the levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate to rise back up to normal levels, relaxing the blood vessels once again. This brings blood pressure back down. 6. Heart Disease and Stroke As stated earlier, Cialis stops cytokine storms. Those little proteins can build up as plaque in the arteries. It also increases circulation, which further prevents a harmful buildup. A buildup of plaque can lead to arteriosclerosis, heart attack, or stroke. 7. Depression During a Cialis research study using rats to observe the effect of maternal separation on the hippocampus and apoptosis, researchers learned that Cialis decreased the amount of time the rat pups showed adverse effects. They concluded that tadalafil, the active drug in Cialis, could potentially work as an antidepressant. 8. Memory Loss In the same study mentioned above, researchers found that Cialis improves memory and improves the symptoms of ameliorated memory impairment. One possible reason for this could stem from the finding that Cialis decreases the occurrence of apoptosis in the hippocampus, a part of the brain associated with memory. In simpler terms, this means that the drug reduces the programmed death of cells in that region of the brain. Slowing cell death in that part of the brain means improving memory, adding to the list of Cialis benefits. 9. Testosterone Deficiency Syndrome Testosterone, the major male sex hormone, helps men build muscle, grow body hair, and speak with deep voices. As men age, their testosterone levels tend to decrease. This can result in: decreased sex drive erectile dysfunction fatigue irritability depression Cialis helps this by improving the estrogen-testosterone ratio in the body by up to 30%. The drug decreases estrogen production while raising the amount of testosterone. 10. Becker Muscular Dystrophy Becker muscular dystrophy is a degenerative muscle disease that affects voluntary muscles and sometimes the muscles of the heart. This results in pain, disability, and even death when the heart muscles break down. Research on the disease reveals that increasing blood flow to the muscles can play a major role in stopping r possibly even reversing the muscle degeneration. Since Cialis improves circulation, it makes this drug a fantastic candidate in the treatment for this disease. 11. Low Libido in Women Cialis does not work exclusively for men! Women who suffer from low libido can take this medication to amp up their sack session as well. Just as men need ample blood flow to the genital region in order to achieve an erection, women need an increased supply for sensation and the ability to orgasm. After menopause, the hormone changes tend to significantly decrease a woman's drive as they receive less blood flow to the region. You can fix that with a "his and hers" pillbox of Cialis next to the nightstand. Is Cialis Right For You? Today you earned that Cialis can work as a wonder drug of sorts, benefiting both men and women. The number of Cialis uses seems to increase as research continues. If you suffer from one of the ailments mentioned above, ask your doctor if Cialis could safely help you. To find the best supplements on the market, explore our website!

Arimidex, another name for the drug Anastrozole, is a drug supplement commonly used by bodybuilders. Many people assume these types of supplements are steroids, but Arimidex is a non-steroidal drug that can have huge impacts on bodybuilding. Maybe you've been thinking about using Arimidex for bodybuilding, or maybe you're just hearing about it now. Either way, keep reading. We're going to go over the top 5 facts about using Arimidex for bodybuilding in this article. 1. Arimidex Inhibits Estrogen Synthesis Arimidex is a class of drug called a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibiting drug. What this means is that it helps to decrease the amount of estrogen in your bloodstream without affecting other hormones in your body. 2. Arimidex Lessens Negative Steroid Symptoms When bodybuilders take steroids in order to build muscle and improve athletic performance, there are certain negative side effects that they can experience. Some of the most common side effects of steroid use are caused by an increase in estrogen levels in the blood. These side effects can include: Male breast growth Higher pitched voice Water retention Lowered libido Penis and testicle shrinkage Increase in blood pressure Taking Arimidex alongside steroids can limit, or even prevent, these negative side effects from occurring. You'll get the benefits of steroids without the some of the most common (and negative) consequences. 3. There Are No Side Effects One of the best things about taking Arimidex is that there aren't side effects to taking it with steroids. In fact, they actually work to lessen any adverse side effects that you would normally experience taking steroids. While there are side effects for women who take it to battle breast cancer, bodybuilders who take the proper dose during a cycle of steroids are not likely to experience those side effects. 4. It's Legal You can obtain this drug legally without a prescription, so you don't have to worry about having it in your possession to aid in your bodybuilding goals. 5. A Word of Caution While there aren't any side effects that you're at a huge risk for when taking this drug, we want to mention one thing you need to be aware of: taking too much of this drug can cause your estrogen levels to drop too low. You might think the lower the estrogen the better, but that's not the case. Both men and women need estrogen for proper bodily functions. Taking too much Arimidex can result in: Depression Fatigue Erectile dysfunction Keep this in mind as you use Arimidex for bodybuilding. It can help waylay any negative side effects, but it can also result in some negative if you're not careful. Arimidex for Bodybuilding: Wrapping Up Using an Arimidex bodybuilding supplement alongside a cycle of steroids can help prevent negative estrogen-caused side effects. Most men don't want to grow breasts or have their voice a pitch higher, so taking steps to prevent these things is made easy with Arimidex. If you have any other questions about the effects of steroids, read our articles on steroid use.
Building muscle is one of those goals that seems so simple until you try it. You just work out more, right? The reality is far more complicated. Your body is a complex environment and you need to create the right circumstances for it to build muscle. That's why it's so important to do some research if you're serious about finding the fastest way to build muscle. If you're ready to amplify your muscle-building, start with these tips. 1. Push Your Training Volume First and foremost, this is the most important factor in your muscle-building process. You need to work out the right way. One of the biggest mistakes people make when working out is they try to lift too much weight and they tire themselves out after a few reps. That's not a safe weightlifting practice, nor is it productive. In reality, it's the number of reps you do rather than the amount of weight you lift that will accelerate your muscle-building. It's better to use a lower weight that you can lift for four sets of 20 reps than a higher weight you can only lift for two sets of ten reps. Work your way up to more reps and higher weights so you're pushing yourself more and more. 2. Stock Up on Protein This should come as no surprise, but your body needs a lot of protein to build muscle in a hurry. Your body needs the amino acids from protein in order to build muscle, so your muscle growth is limited by how much protein you eat. If you want to build muscle mass fast, you should aim to get 35% of your daily calories from protein. That's not an easy metric to hit, but the closer you can get, the better. How do you know what percentage of your daily calories come from protein? It takes a little math. If you're maintaining a diet of 2000 calories per day, 700 of those calories should come from protein. Each gram of protein contains 4 calories. This means that for a 2000-calorie-per-day diet, you should aim for 175 grams of protein. Speaking of calories, it's also crucial to make sure that you're maintaining a calorie surplus rather than a calorie deficit. When you have a calorie deficit, your body can't build muscle as well. 3. Take It Slow In any given lifting exercise, there's a "hard" motion and an "easy" motion. For instance, in a bicep curl, raising the weight is the "hard' motion and lowering it is the "easy" motion. Most people focus on the more difficult part of the exercise, assuming that's how they'll build muscle. In reality, the easier part of the exercise has a huge impact on your muscle-building too. To make the most of each lift, slow down the easy part of the exercise to make your body work harder during this time. 4. Plan Your Rest Periods Well Speaking of the parts of your workout that most people ignore, let's talk about rest periods. Your resting time between sets has a greater impact on your muscle-building than you realize. Your rest time needs to be long enough that you can recover enough to complete your regimen. At the same time, if it's too long it will cut down on muscle fatigue, limiting your muscle growth. Most experts recommend rest periods between 30 seconds and 90 seconds. It will take some experimenting on your part to see what works best for you. Remember that you can vary your rest times too. Many people take shorter rests at the beginning of their workouts with longer rests later in their workout. 5. Invest in Supplements If you want to fast-track your muscle growth, supplements are an important part of it. There are many types of muscle-building supplements available, so you may want to do some trial and error experiments to see which ones work best for you. Some supplements will help you build muscle directly. Others, like creatine, just allow you to perform better during your workouts so you can work your muscles harder. No matter what supplement you choose, though, remember that you need to accompany it with great workouts to see the effects. 6. Make Your Sleep Work for You Sleep is another one of those underestimated parts of muscle growth. In fact, sleep is when your body actually repairs your muscles and develops your muscle fibers. One reason sleep is so important is the human growth hormone. Your body naturally releases human growth hormone or HGH while you sleep. That HGH is instrumental in muscle growth. The less you sleep, the less HGH your body releases, limiting your muscle growth. If you want to make your sleep work even harder for you, start eating casein protein before bed. Unlike other protein supplements, casein takes longer for your body to metabolize. That means it's supplying you with muscle-building amino acids for long. If you eat casein protein before bed, your body has more amino acids to use while it builds muscle as you sleep. 7. Fuel Mid-Workout We mentioned earlier in this article how important it is to take in a lot of protein while you try to build muscle. For most people that's easier said than done, though. That's why it's a good idea to drink a protein shake during your workout. First, it gives you some extra protein without you trying to fit in another meal or cramming more food into already large meals. Second, it gives you a nice burst of energy and refreshment to help you finish your workout on a high note. Be careful not to drink too large of a shake or to drink it too fast, though. Otherwise, you might upset your stomach and cut your workout short. Try the Fastest Way to Build Muscle! People associate muscles with brute force and power, not planning and calculation. In reality, though, the only way to find the fastest way to build muscle is by doing scientific research. You're lucky in that regard because you can use the research that others have already done. To get a better insight into the muscle-building process, shop our muscle-building research products today.

Or, maybe you're struggling with erectile dysfunction (ED) and are ready to reclaim your confidence in the bedroom. Regardless of your reasons for taking Cialis, you may be apprehensive about starting a daily or as-needed pill regimen. Why? Studies show that one in three people have a hard time swallowing pills. They tend to choke, gag or even vomit while doing so. As such, they tend to neglect their prescription routines and never find the relief they were seeking in the first place. If this sounds like you, there's hope, and it comes in the form of liquid Cialis. That's right. The same golden yellow pills you've come to rely on, but dread when it's time to take them, are also available in a liquid form. Determining the correct liquid Cialis dosage is key to making sure you get the most out of this revolutionary medication. Today, we're discussing how liquid Cialis works and how you can work with your doctor to fine-tune your amount until it's just right. Ready to learn more? Let's go! What Is Liquid Cialis? In short, liquid Cialis is just the liquid form of tadalafil. It comes in a small bottle and can be purchased alongside a syringe for quick and simple application. Cialis works by relaxing the muscles in your blood vessels to allow blood to flow through them. Under the brand name Cialis, tadalafil is designed to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It is also prescribed for benign prostatic hypertrophy, also known as enlarged prostate. Treatment for Erectile Dysfunction Do you have a difficult time reaching and sustaining an erection? Especially if you're an older male, know that you're not alone. In fact, your chances of experiencing erectile dysfunction go up by 10% for every decade you live. That means that while you only have a 50% chance of it when you're 50, those odds jump to an 80% chance when you're 80. Though this condition can be emotionally and physically stressful, you don't have to go through it alone, nor do you have to deal with it forever. Cialis can help. When men are sexually aroused, nerve cells within their penis start to create nitric oxide. This activity occurs within the corpora cavernosa, the two masses of erectile tissue that comprise the majority of both the penis and the vagina. In turn, this stimulation creates an enzyme known as guanylate cyclase. When gyanylate cyclase is present, it transforms another present chemical, GTP, into cyclic guanosine monophosphate, or cGMP for short. When cGMP is created, it causes the blood vessels in your arteries to relax. This allows blood to pump more freely to the penis. At the same time, the blood vessels responsible for taking blood away from the penis constrict. This essentially traps the freshly pumped blood in the penis, leading to enlargement and erection. At some point thereafter, another chemical called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) is released. This works to turn cGMP back into its original form of GTP. Cialis works by inhibiting the activity of PDE5. From there, more cGMP can build up and accumulate in the penis, leading to longer and stronger erections. Treatment for Prostatic Hypertrophy Men who suffer from enlarged prostates often have a difficult time urinating and a weakened urine stream. This is because their urine flow is blocked from passing through their urethra due to the multiplication of prostate cells that puts pressure on the area. Cialis can help widen and expand those blood vessels to make urination more comfortable and successful. The FDA approved Cialis as a treatment for prostatic hypertrophy in 2011. In most of these cases, a 5 mg dose is recommended. Treatment for Women While thus far, Cialis has been associated primarily for use within the male population, recent research has revealed that women may also benefit from taking it. How? In much the same way it increases blood flow to the penis to support longer erections, it can also improve blood flow to the vagina. This can help women, especially those in menopause who find it difficult to achieve sexual arousal, achieve stronger and more powerful orgasms. As a rule of thumb, sexual desire tends to wane with age. Remember our earlier stats about men in their eighties having an 80% chance of ED? The same holds true for women as they grow older. In fact, industry research reveals that women are two to three times more likely to experience a decrease in sexual desire as they get older. This is because their estrogen levels drop as menopause sets in. Combined with the other side effects of this time in their lives, including hot flashes, vaginal dryness, moodiness, and night sweats, it's no wonder that sexual activity takes a backseat. Still, women can and should reclaim their quality of life during menopause, and that often begins with improving the robustness of their sex life. Liquid Cialis can help with this endeavor. Not only can it increase blood flow to the vagina to improve the likelihood of satisfying orgasms, it can also increase and improve the activity of the mucous glands inside of the vagina. This can increase lubrication and making sex more comfortable overall. Determining Your Liquid Cialis Dosage A medical professional will help you determine the level and type of dosage that will work best for you. If you've taken tadalafil in the past, your doctor will need to know how effective your last regimen was to figure out if you need to move up or down on your dosage amount. In pill form, Cialis is available in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg dosages. The liquid form is also available in 30 mg and is more potent. When it comes to Cialis, you'll have two main options when starting your new regimen. One-Daily Regimen Some people take a low dose of Cialis (either 2.5 mg or 5 mg) daily. In this sense, they're always ready to enjoy sex and don't have to worry about taking a pill right beforehand. They do, however, need to ensure that they take their medication at roughly the same time each day to ensure its effectiveness. A daily routine can also be an effective treatment for those with an enlarged prostate, who need the constant, steady supply of medication in their bloodstream. An As-Needed Basis On the other hand, some people take a higher dosage of Cialis (10 mg, 20 mg or 30 mg) on an as-needed basis rather than once per day. Heralded throughout the industry for its ability to last longer than most competing ED prescription medications, Cialis can start working in as little as 30 minutes. However, you should take it at least two hours before you intend to engage in intercourse. It can also last as long as 36 hours, leading many to dub it "The Weekender Pill." If you're looking to increase lubrication and stimulate blood flow to your genitals but only during times of intercourse, an as-needed approach is often recommended. Finding Your Ideal Dosage Your ideal dosage for liquid Cialis will depend on what you're using it to treat and whether or not you've used the medication in the past. If you don't suffer from severe erectile dysfunction and are using the drug to control symptoms of an enlarged prostate, a lower 5 mg or 10 mg dose might be all you need. This also holds true if your ED is mild to moderate. Alternatively, if your ED is significant enough to directly impact your sex life, emotional health, and physical well being, then you may require a stronger dose. Again, your doctor will be able to pinpoint exactly how much you should take and whether a once-daily or as-needed regimen is right for you. How to Take Liquid Cialis If you're wondering how to take liquid Cialis, it's important to understand that you'll get the same effects from this form of medication as you would with a pill, tablet or soft gel. The only difference? The drug will enter your mouth directly and in effect, can go to work quicker than via those other means. It's also a tasteless and odorless substance so you don't have to worry about plugging your nose and squirming every time you're ready to take it. Rather, you can use a needless oral syringe or a dropper to insert the liquid into your mouth. Or, you may prefer to put it under your tongue. Experts recommend a dosage amount of at least 20 mg of liquid Cialis, and to insert it around 16 minutes before you expect to initiate sexual activity. This applies to both men and women and includes those taking Cialis to treat an enlarged prostate. Remember, in the absence of arousal, ED drugs including Cialis are rendered ineffective. They are not meant to create the sensation of arousal, only to heighten those feelings and ensure a physical response once they're initiated. Shake the substance well before use. Be sure to store it at room temperature and in an area that is away from direct sunlight, moisture, pets and small children. Side Effects of Liquid Cialis When taking liquid Cialis, you can expect to experience the same side effects as you would if taking the pill form. Possible side effects may include face flushness or redness. You may also experience flu-like symptoms including nasal congestion, stuffiness, upset stomach and headaches. In some severe cases, low blood pressure and changes in vision have occurred, as have painful and prolonged erections lasting more than four hours. To mitigate your risk of these side effects, be sure to follow recommended precautions when taking liquid Cialis. Especially if you're currently taking nitrates to manage your high blood pressure, never mix Cialis with existing medications. Doing so can exacerbate the hypotensive effects of those drugs to a risky degree, creating too-low blood pressure levels that could be fatal. Also, steer clear of grapefruit juice as well as excessive amounts of alcohol and tobacco during your Cialis regimen. Grapefruit juice, in particular, can increase the amount of tadalafil in your bloodstream to an unsafe and potentially fatal level. Moreover, when mixed with too much alcohol, Cialis can drop your blood pressure to unsafe levels. That dizziness you feel when you stand up too fast? That's your heart rate accelerating and blood pooling in your lower extremities. This action lowers your blood pressure and accounts for that lightheadedness. If you consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day while taking Cialis, that same sensation can occur, only heightened to a potentially deadly extreme. Tobacco is prohibited while taking this drug as combining the two could result in NAION. This is a form of nerve-related vision loss that can happen suddenly and cause catastrophic effects. Cialis is becoming a popular treatment for bodybuilders, coming third behind Viagra and Levitra with 7.10 billion dollars in sales last year. Touted as having an 81% effectiveness in men for erectile dysfunction and enlarged prostates, Cialis offers many benefits for men. But the science behind Cialis is also being used by weightlifters to improve blood flow to the muscles and to reduce inflammation. How does Cialis work in the body? Read on to find out how to use it for weight loss and improved bodybuilding sessions. Why Cialis Works Cialis works to improve both testosterone and nitrous oxide levels in men. This helps with both weight loss and improved muscle mass that helps in weightlifting as well. Californian nutrition expert Victor Conte says all of his athletes are taking it. They are reportedly touting Cialis as "bigger than creatine" according to Generation Iron. Some bodybuilders today are swearing by it, and believe they know how well Cialis does work by working by targeting the Nitric Oxide levels in the body. The science in Cialis also helps improve testosterone levels and muscle growth. That's how Cialis provides a weight loss benefit. Zava reports that when used for erectile dysfunction, Cialis has an 81 percent effectiveness in men. Bodybuilders find it useful for weight loss as it lasts longer than other erectile dysfunction treatments. That's how Cialis has earned the nickname the "weekend pill." How Does Cialis Work in the Body? Cialis is primarily used for erectile dysfunction. An erection occurs in men when the penis is filled with blood. The blood vessels send blood to the penis and dilate in the process, allowing for more blood flow. Blood vessels responsible for blood flow to the penis contract, leading to a blood accumulation in the penis. This leads to an erection. Erections are caused by sexual stimulation, and this releases nitric oxide to the penis. Nitric oxide produces a chemical known as cGMP, and it is this chemical that controls what the blood vessels that take blood to and from the penis. A chemical known as PDE5 eliminates cGMP during an erection. When that happens, the blood vessels resume their normal size, and the erection stops. Cialis is the medication that prevents the chemical PDE5 from eliminating cGMP. For men that are unable to get or sustain an erection, even after sexual stimulation, Cialis works on the chemical PDE5. This allows them to get an erection and keep it longer. The chemical PDE5 is also found in the lungs. The chemical PDE5 is known to impact pulmonary function. When PDE5 is not working, high blood pressure can occur. An added benefit to Cialis is that it lowers blood pressure. This is how Cialis can help in bodybuilding. Bodybuilders that want the benefit of weight loss with Cialis wonder how does Cialis work. When it works for weight loss, it is presumed to work at the nitrous oxide levels and on the PDE5 levels in the lungs. Cialis falls in the medication class of PDE5 inhibitors. How Well Does Cialis Work? Anyone considering Cialis for bodybuilding or erectile dysfunction is going to naturally wonder how does the drug Cialis work. Cialis is known to be very effective, and treats a number of medical problems from erectile dysfunction to prostatic hyperplasia in men, according to Drugs.com. The plasma levels in the penis can be reached within half an hour to six hours after taking Cialis. Those wondering how long does it take for Cialis to work can rest assured that the average time frame for Cialis to kick in is approximately two hours. But not only does Cialis work quickly, but it also lasts up to 36 hours. Bodybuilders today could even experience its weight loss benefits from liquid Cialis for up to two workouts over 36 hours. Bodybuilders wondering how well Cialis does work can look to its ability as a PDE5 inhibitor. The chemical known as PDE5 is blocked by the use of Cialis, and PDE5 is the chemical that loses an erection in men. When a man is sexually stimulated, his nerves release nitric oxide and this promotes cGMP activity. CGMP is a messenger of sorts. It ensures the penis fills up with blood, and that the blood then leaves the penis. There is a variety of activity between nerve endings and blood vessels. Without PDE5, the cGMP would not be eliminated from the penis, and the erection lasts longer. But also, without PDE5, blood vessels function better in other parts of the body as well. Cialis functions as a PDE5 inhibitor, and this is why it is also being used for weight loss benefits, bodybuilding benefits, and to lower blood pressure. Research Behind Cialis and Weight Loss Cialis as a weight loss treatment is a relatively new concept, with little research. But the science behind Cialis continues to be explored. How Cialis does work as a weight loss supplement is being studied regularly. The Journal of Sex Medicine studied men with type 2 diabetes that were also overweight, and they were being treated for erectile dysfunction. The study divided the men into two groups. One group was known as the diabetes support and education group. The other was the intensive lifestyle intervention group. They were being looked at for changes in erectile function, but the researchers found some weight loss effects. The intensive lifestyle intervention group lost 9.9 percent of their body weight while using Cialis. The other group that did not receive Cialis lost .6 percent of body weight. Researchers wondering how does Cialis work in the body for erectile function also found that Cialis works for weight loss benefits as well. The researchers found the drug was "mildly helpful" for both erectile function and weight loss. How Long Does it Take for Cialis to Work? Although sales for Cialis are third behind Viagra and Levitra, Cialis is known to not only work faster but last longer. Typical onset of results from Cialis for erectile dysfunction happens within half an hour. How long it will take to work for weight loss is unknown, but many bodybuilders are using it and choosing it over creatine. It is known as the "Weekend Pill" because men take it on a Friday and can experience its erectile effects into Sunday morning. Because Cialis can work for so long, it is favored over other drugs as couples using it for erectile dysfunction aren't relying on a wait time. If it lasts over the weekend, spontaneous erections are favored over waiting for one after a pill such as Viagra and Levitra. This spontaneity can be transferred and favored in workout programs as well. Other benefits to Cialis are that it is more affordable and can be used daily. Liquid Cialis is sometimes considered as one of the top 5 supplements to be used daily for bodybuilders. You also don't need to take food with Cialis, which for bodybuilders would be a benefit for weight loss. Cialis can also be taken in liquid form or supplement form. Other Scientific Benefits of Cialis Cialis is also sometimes known to offer benefits such as lowering blood pressure and working on testosterone levels. It relaxes the blood vessels and sometimes can enable a wider vessel for blood flow. This has the potential to reduce the pressure inside the vessel and reducing blood pressure overall. When blood pressure is lower, blood flow throughout the entire body is improved. This means blood flow to all muscles is improved and this is why bodybuilders are using Cialis for weight loss. When their blood flow improves to their muscles, their workouts will be better. Cialis is also considered in some circles to improve testosterone and estrogen ratios. Improved testosterone levels will increase muscle mass which, over time, will lead to more weight loss. One study in the Journal of Sex Medicine found that males that took Cialis improved their testosterone overall by 24 percent. In males that were 54 and older, testosterone levels increased by 5.5 percent, estrogen levels decreased by 15%. How the drug Cialis does work in the body on testosterone levels is caused when Cialis prevents enzymes from converting testosterone to estrogen. This means that Cialis would lead to more testosterone in the body and less estrogen. What to Avoid When Taking Cialis Although Cialis does have testimonial and research-based known effects of weight loss, it still works on pulmonary function and there is some caution to be had when using it. There are many things that bodybuilders need to know about Cialis, and many things to avoid when taking it. Overuse of Cialis can lead to shortness of breath, fatigue, and dizziness. The Livestrong Foundation reports that there is a number of foods to avoid when taking Cialis. Grapefruit is one of them. Grapefruit blocks the enzyme that breaks down Cialis in the body. If the body does not have that enzyme, Cialis can not break down and its effects last longer. Not only can this be toxic, but it can also lead to longer erections for men. Not only should you avoid taking grapefruit juice with Cialis, avoid any form of grapefruit before taking it for about three days. Livestrong reports that it can take as long as three days for grapefruit to leave the body. Alcohol should also not be taken with Cialis. Cialis dilates blood vessels, and alcohol opens them. When Cialis and alcohol are taken together, blood pressure can drop. Side effects can include headaches, dizziness, or a faster heart rate. The scientific benefits of Cialis when eating other foods is different from that of other PDE5 inhibitors. Some PDE5 inhibitors are affected when eaten with certain foods, particularly high-fat foods. Cialis does not have that effect. Cialis can be taken with most foods but grapefruit and can be eaten with high-fat foods. This would inhibit its effects for weight loss. Livestrong also reports that there are at least 200 medications that can interact with Cialis. It's important to talk to a doctor before taking Cialis if you are on any other medications. Side Effects of Cialis The science of Cialis is that it works directly on blood flow function. So it's very important to understand its side effects before taking it in any form. It works on nitrate function and can cause serious side effects if not used properly. Some side effects of Cialis alone are headaches, muscle pain, redness, and sometimes cold-like symptoms. Changes in vision are also reported. Fainting or a sudden blood pressure change can also occur. Men that are already on heart medication should not take Cialis. Other side effects include nausea, numbness, tingling in the arms, chest or neck. An erection lasting longer than four hours is a condition known as priapism. Immediate medical attention is necessary when this happens. Cialis is also known to work on the blood flow to the eye and can impair the optic nerve leading to sudden blindness. Men that have heart problems, diabetes, cholesterol problems, or any form of blood pressure or eye problems are more likely to experience this side effect. Men with kidney or liver problems, ulcers, anemia, a history of stroke or heart rhythm problems should also not take Cialis. How to Take Cialis for Weight Loss Bodybuilders should be careful when taking Cialis for weight loss. It has been touted as a very effective treatment in supplement form for better "pumps" at the gym. This is because Cialis has an impact on blood flow. It stands to reason that if blood flow to the penis improves, blood flow to all muscles will improve. Between this impact and the impact of Cialis on testosterone levels, bodybuilders are enjoying its effects on weight loss. But it does need to be taken carefully and with caution. There are a number of side effects with Cialis in any form, and it can block the function of other medications. If there are pre-existing conditions that include problems with the heart or eyes, bodybuilders should talk to their doctor before taking Cialis. But Cialis is available in a variety of forms for bodybuilders. Instructions on how to take liquid supplements are available. Specific equipment is required, and responsibility is key when taking this medication. See How Well Cialis Works for Bodybuilders The science behind Cialis is making it a terrific choice for bodybuilders looking for increased blood flow to their muscles, and reduced inflammation. For those wondering how does Cialis work in the body, today's bodybuilder forums and blogs are filled with testimonials of weightlifters getting better pumps by using Cialis.
