About 11% of American children have some form of ADD or ADHD along with 4% of American adults. Of these millions of people, 6.1% use some sort of medication to deal with the symptoms. One such medication is called Dexedrine. Dexedrine has other uses and benefits alongside treating ADHD. Keep reading to learn 5 facts about Dexedrine, and how it can be used to reach your fitness goals. 1. Dexedrine Is Commonly Used to Treat ADHD Dexedrine (and its generic Dextroamphetamine) is used to treat Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It works by stimulating the brain and improves your ability to: Focus Control behavior issues/problems Reduce impulsivity Improve attentiveness This can help both children and adults diagnosed with ADHD. 2. Dexedrine Is a Stimulant As we mentioned in the previous section, Dexedrine works as a stimulant in the brain. This means that alongside the benefits for those with ADHD, it also works just like any other stimulant would: it can give you more energy and help you stay awake. How is this a benefit? Well, many use it to treat narcolepsy (a disorder characterized by sudden episodes of falling asleep during the day). It can also be used to help your fitness and workouts. Instead of taking pre-workout or drinking a cup of coffee, this stimulant can give you energy and improve your workouts. 3. Dexedrine and Weight Loss One way Dexedrine can help with weight loss we already talked about: it works as a stimulant to help you bust out more intense and frequent workouts. However, it also can act as an appetite suppressant. This will help you avoid overeating and keep you fuller while eating fewer calories. 4. Dexedrine for Depression Fitness isn't all about your physical body: your mental health has a huge impact on your well-being and your physical health as well. There is evidence that using psychostimulants like Dexedrine can help treat depression alongside therapy, exercise, and other depression treatments. 5. Can Be Addictive A downside you need to be aware of before using Dexedrine is that it can be addictive and habit forming. If you have had substance abuse problems or addiction issues in the past, you might want to avoid using Dexedrine. Its addictive nature also means that you will likely go through withdrawal if and when you stop taking it. Withdrawal symptoms can include: Cravings Depression Fatigue Agitation and irritability Excessive hunger Aggression It's also important to remember that once you stop taking this medication, you won't be getting the energy boost or the appetite suppression anymore. So if you don't combine this drug with a healthy diet and a proper exercise routine, you likely won't see long-term fitness results. Final Thoughts Dexedrine has benefits that can help you reach fitness goals as well as treat ADHD. However, don't forget that this is a drug with side effects and an addictive quality. Low testosterone is no joke. It can result in sexual dysfunction, increased fatigue, decreased strength, body swelling, and sleep disturbances, amongst a whole host of other negative effects. There's no way to sustain your peak level of testosterone forever. Aging makes sure of that for all of us. However, there are ways you can keep your testosterone from bottoming out. Many people don't know that diet is a key factor in the production, or lack of production, of testosterone. There are many foods that are deadly to your testosterone, and you should know about them so you can avoid them as you craft your meal plan. What follows are 10 of these testosterone killing foods. Join us as we dive deep into dangerous waters before we surface with knowledge that will keep your testosterone levels healthy. Be Mindful With These 10 Testosterone Killing Foods There's a spectrum of testosterone annihilation. Not all of these foods are deadly in proper amounts, but you should be careful when ingesting all of them. Watch your intake, and if you're at risk for low testosterone, make sure you consult with your doctor or nutritionist when incorporating them into your diet. Take notes. 1. Too Much Protein "No way!" you say. "Too much protein lowers testosterone? It can't be!" We know it seems counterintuitive. Culturally, we're programmed to correlate protein with muscle building and muscles with masculinity, strength, and all of the other connotations of high testosterone. This suggestion is definitely a controversial one. There are people much smarter than we are who interpret the data in sometimes conflicting ways. But we've seen the correlation too much to ignore it. Some studies have shown a correlation between lower production of testosterone and higher levels of protein in the diet. There may not be evidence to suggest that the protein is the cause of that low level of testosterone, but the correlation is noteworthy. The takeaway? Make sure you're eating the right amounts and kinds of protein in your diet so that your food can work with your testosterone rather than against it. 2. Flax Seeds We'll admit it's bold to put flax products this high on our list. There are definitely testosterone killing foods lower on the list with much greater effects. But flax seeds are a superfood of the moment, and it's important to be cautious when it comes to any dietary fads. The plus side most flax seed fans tout is the high amount of omega-3s they contain. Which is true, they are high in omega-3s, but so are plenty of other foods. The downside of flax is most everything else about it. The food is estrogenic, so much that doctors use it to combat testosterone in female patients with excess body hair. If you need an estrogen boost, go for flax seeds. If you want to keep your testosterone intact, steer clear. 3. Alcohol This is the big one, the mother of all suggestions. Reduce your alcohol consumption. You've seen this tip on all sorts of food and beverage guides. While alcohol may create good times in the short term, there's no getting around the fact that it is a poison to our bodies. That includes killing our testosterone levels. One scientific study showed that when rats consumed a diet with 5% of its calories coming from alcohol, their testicles shrunk by 50%. In human terms, that's half a beer a day. The way alcohol reduces your testosterone is through the addition of stress to your system. We all know stress is a destroyer of health, and the added stress limits your body's ability to produce testosterone. Especially damaging are the hops in beer, which can keep the liver from removing excess estrogen and phytoestrogens. Not only does alcohol take a toll on your body's testosterone levels over the long haul, it can also impact your libido before sex, as many men know. 4. Mint If we're talking about reducing stress, eliminating mint feels like the wrong way to go. While a nice peppermint tea is soothing, there might be other tea options you should seek out if you're looking to keep your testosterone up. A 2004 study showed that one cup of peppermint tea could lower testosterone levels by 23%, and a cup of spearmint tea could do even more damage, lowering levels by 51%. While the damage these drinks do to your system isn't permanent, it can be sustainably harmful if you keep your mint tea habit up on a daily basis. 5. Soda, Especially Diet Soda So continues the beverage portion of our list. We don't need to tell you soda isn't good for you, even and especially diet soda. When it comes to your testosterone, regular soda can decrease it by encouraging the kind of weight gain that is so frequently associated with lower testosterone levels. Diet soda is a particularly bad fit for those at risk for low testosterone. That's because the artificial sweeteners affect your serotonin levels. Not only does serotonin positively correlate with your sense of happiness and well-being, but low serotonin correlates with lower libido. On top of all that, the plastic bottles soda are often made with phthalates, which can have estrogen-like properties. All the thumbs down on soda. 6. Marijuana We'll admit this one is a bummer. There are plenty of links between cannabis and sex that it's frustrating to hear marijuana may have negative effects on one of the main sex hormones. But it's true, marijuana can decrease testosterone for up to 24 hours after you use it. Since we mentioned the sugar in soda leading to weight gain, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention edibles here. Gummies, cookies, and brownies are all sugar-rich foods, and if that's how you consume your marijuana, your testosterone is doubly at risk. You'll note we mention marijuana here, the kind with active THC, and not every aspect of the plant. As far as we know, your CBD oil and hemp protein powder are still safe. 7. Chocolate Does it seem like we're just coming after everyone's favorite foods? We promise that's not our aim. It's not that chocolate is entirely bad for you. It's just this one area of your health that can suffer if you eat too much of it. As we mentioned before, some of these foods in moderation won't completely destroy your testosterone. Many people think chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is an aphrodisiac, but consuming chocolate in more than moderate quantities can suppress testosterone levels. You don't have to curtail your chocolate nibbling entirely. Just eat it wisely and sparingly. 8. Licorice Many people hate licorice, so foregoing this candy might be a lot easier than giving up chocolate. However, licorice's lovers are a fervent bunch, so it bears relaying the message that this is another sugary food that can kill testosterone completely separate from its sugar content. The ingredient in licorice that attacks testosterone is glycyrrhizic acid, which is what gives licorice its distinct flavor. Glycyrrhizic acid is powerful in its ability to block testosterone production in the Leydig cells. A study in the New England Journal of Medicine showed drastic reductions in testosterone in men who consumed licorice. Their subjects' testosterone dropped by around 50% in just a few days. And this wasn't some sort of concentrated licorice extract made specifically for the study. These subjects were eating store-bought licorice. So watch out because the testosterone poison is hiding in plain sight. 9. Soy It may be a large part of many vegan bodybuilders' diets, but soy can wreak havoc on testosterone. There are all sorts of compounds within it that can have this effect. Some of these compounds are called isoflavones, which exert estrogenic effects on your body. Others are called goitrogens. These negatively impact the thyroid and your metabolism. Since a low-functioning thyroid is one cause of low testosterone in men, you can see how consuming soy milk or edamame can correspond to the dysfunction of low testosterone. There are also compounds call anti-androgens in soy. These compounds work even more directly to suppress testosterone. It's easy enough to avoid soy supplements and choose a cleaner, more testosterone-friendly protein, but there are sneaky ways for soy to appear in your diet, like the aforementioned edamame. Maybe stick to miso soup when it comes to Japanese/Chinese appetizers. The poison cherry on the top of the soy sundae is the level of processing that accompanies soybeans in the United States. Any foods that are too heavily processed will wear down your testosterone significantly. That brings us to our last food item on the list. 10. Donuts, Nachos, French Fries We realize this is three foods, but we're actually using this category to cover for a whole lot more foods, including fast food and pretty much anything that is deep fried. These foods have a multi-pronged, cumulative effect on testosterone production. Let's count the ways they kill it. Vegetable Oils Many of these foods come fried in vegetable oils, which are testosterone killers of the highest order. These oils decrease thyroid function, which we've already talked about, and they also lower testosterone directly. Plus, one of the main vegetable oils is soybean oil, and we've already talked about the damage soy can cause. Vegetable oils are so damaging because they are polyunsaturated fats. This means they are easily broken and denatured with light, heat, and oxygen. When these elements denature the fat in vegetable oil, the oil becomes toxic to the body from a nutritional standpoint. Saturated and monounsaturated fats can actually boost your testosterone, but when the fat you're getting is polyunsaturated, your testosterone is at risk. These unhealthy fats are also going to increase your cholesterol levels over time, and that can do damage to your testosterone in and of itself. Processing These fun foods also suffer from the processing concerns of soy. Many of them are made with low-quality ingredients, and the animals that become burgers especially come injected with all sorts of antibiotics and growth hormones over the course of their lives. None of these additional "ingredients" are going to benefit your testosterone. Weight Gain We could go on about the testosterone killing effects of some of our favorite foods forever, but we'll end our discussion of them by once again referring to weight gain. If there is something you need to cut out of your diet to lose weight, you're always going to start with these foods. As tasty as they are, french fries and donuts will cause weight gain if not eaten extremely sparingly. In fact, it's almost because they are so tasty that they come with such a large warning. Preserve the Power of Your Supplements By Avoiding These Foods As you can see, our grocery stores and restaurants are full of testosterone killing foods, from fun ones like french fries and chocolate to the easier to avoid like licorice and flax seeds. Hopefully, you come away from this guide with an idea of the foods you should avoid when you want to keep your testosterone high or build it up from low levels if you've tested low for testosterone in the past. There are a lot of highly desirable foods on this list, but as long as you're smart with your consumption of them, you should be able to mitigate any testosterone-killing effects. Our suggestions apply as well for women as they do for men. After all, women need testosterone too. If you want even more solutions for women, check out our female-friendly supplements.
Maintaining a healthy sex life is something that every person dreams about. Not only is good for the soul, but it also helps against things like stress and depression as well. Sometimes keeping things in running order isn't as easy as getting into the right mood. Sometimes we all need a little extra help in getting the right mindset going to keep ourselves happy in our relationships. This is as true for women as it is for men. This is where Viagra for women comes to play. It gives women the chance to jumpstart their libido in much the same way as it does for men. If you're uncertain, keep reading to learn more of how this supplement helps in a number of different ways. An Overview of Viagra for Women We've all seen those familiar commercials telling the world how good Viagra can be for men. But despite the male-heavy twist in those commercials, women use these kinds of medications as well. Although Viagra is not approved for use by women in an official sense, many women still seek out its help. Problems with sexual arousal in women stem from a wide variety of different origins. It can be anything from a physical injury, a traumatic event, or from high amounts of stress. Female sexual interest/arousal disorder (abbreviated as FSIAD) is a real thing that affects many women every single day. It's a problem that a change of diet or a day at the spa can't always fix. Seeking out help in the form of medication isn't something to feel ashamed about. How It Works The main component of female Viagra is flibanserin. This compound was first created to treat depression but is now used to treat the symptoms of FSIAD. Once in the system, flibanserin aids in a faster blood flow, helping the erogenous areas of your body become more sensitive to stimulation. At the same time, it raises the dopamine levels, assisting in the connections firing in your brain and also enhancing sexual desire. The effect of this varies from one woman to another. As with most medications, there is no true cure-all for every single person with the same problem. But if one type of female Viagra doesn't work, there are other types on the market that may do the job instead. The Benefits Increased Sexual Arousal and Satisfaction The main benefit of taking Viagra as a woman is to give yourself a boost in sexual arousal and overall satisfaction. You'll go into your bedroom far more interested and come out feeling happier rather than frustrated. This treatment is more effective towards women with a physical ailment rather than those affected by mental issues. Enhanced Sexual Performance Not only does female Viagra give you back that desire for sexual interaction, but it also helps your body perform. Levels of lubrication and sensitivity will be higher than you would be able to achieve on your own, aiding in your overall satisfaction. As a medical problem that affects at least 10% of all women, it's important to find something that lets you feel comfortable at all times. Menstrual Pain Reduction The way Viagra helps with the flow of blood in your body makes this medication a potential treatment during menstruation. Its unique properties aid against the pain from cramps and headaches. Your periods become easier to handle with the help of Viagra. It's not a true substitute for other medications specific for menstruation problems, but it still gives relief. Potential Increased Fertility Although research for this property isn't complete as of this writing, it is something still worth mentioning. At this moment, scientists are in the middle of different tests to find out whether or not Viagra medications help in the fertility of women. The strong sexual performance and the aided blood flow might make Viagra a great asset for female fertility. It's too early to tell at the moment, but it's something to keep in mind if you are seeking extra help in conceiving a child. Common Side-Effects It's not an uncommon thing for a kind of medication to have side-effects, and Viagra is no different. When deciding if this is the right medicine for your particular situation, keep in mind these side-effects: Slight dizziness Constant dry mouth Trouble falling asleep Waking up throughout the night Irregular blood pressure Nausea Fainting If these side-effects are severe, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible. Stop taking Viagra until you've sought out medical advice. Who Should Take Female Viagra? Anyone wishing to enhance their sexual interactions may find that Viagra is the right choice for their situation. In general, women will find the physical properties of Viagra to be more beneficial. Women with FSIAD stemming from mental illnesses may find that Viagra will not do much for them at all. If you drink alcohol on a regular basis or suffer from liver problems, you should steer clear of Viagra. Grapefruit juice is also something you should stay away from on Viagra. With all medication, it's a good idea to get in touch with your doctor before making a big change in your day-to-day lifestyle. Certain medications and dietary supplements give a bad reaction when mixed with Viagra. Telling your doctor about your intentions ahead of time will keep you safe from these problems. A Healthy Mind Does Wonders As you can see, Viagra for women is a real option for FSIAD. It brings aid to a problem that is difficult to fix. If you suffer from FSIAD, it may be a good idea to get in touch with a doctor to feel out other options. A lot of the time, FSIAD starts because of other factors in your life that might affect you in ways you don't even understand. With the right kind of help and Viagra to boost your senses, you'll be feeling more attuned in the bedroom in no time! A healthy body is as important as a healthy mind, so don't forget to check out our weight loss meal plans!
You've always been interested in finding workout supplements that can take your time in the gym to the next level -- and seriously increase your gains in the process. But as a female bodybuilder, you also know just how tough it can sometimes be to find products that work for you. You've heard all about clenbuterol, but you're not sure what the ideal clenbuterol dosage for women is. In fact, you're not entirely sure if it's safe for women to take at all. Is clenbuterol for women the fat burning and muscle mass increasing solution that you've been looking for? Keep on reading this post to find out. In it, we'll cover what it is, how it works, the potential side effects, and so much more. What Is Clenbuterol? First of all, let's take a look at what clenbuterol actually is before we get into its side effects and proper dosage techniques. Interestingly enough, clenbuterol was first created to help to manage the symptoms of asthma. This is because it belongs to the beta2-agonist drug class, which help to dilate the bronchial muscles. However, many people also use clenbuterol to help them to lose weight and build muscles. It can help you to cut away extra fat and water that can cover up your muscles, making it hard to get the kinds of visual results and gains that you're looking for. In fact, it directly binds to the hormone receptors in your adrenal glands, specifically targeting the hormone epinephrine (aka adrenaline.) You likely get a surge of adrenaline every time you push yourself harder in the gym, or even when you're faced with a "fight or flight" situation. That response is directly tied to your kidneys and adrenal glands, and causes a sudden secretion of the epinephrine hormone. This is because your body is giving you a rush of the hormones to help you to think quickly in a stressful situation. Specifically, this rush of a high amount of epinephrine into the bloodstream boosts your metabolism. Clenbuterol also clings to the cells in the muscle that help our bodies to start the protein synthesis process. So, when you take clenbuterol (or "clen" as it's sometimes called in bodybuilding circles) you won't just lose body more body fat. You'll also boost your metabolism, which can keep you burning fat all day long. Plus, your body will keep lean muscle tissue strong. Additionally, clen speeds up the oxygen flow throughout your body. This helps to boost your energy, so you can push through much harder workouts. Clenbuterol for Women It's no secret that more women are getting into bodybuilding than ever before. After all, it's hard to resist that Wonder Woman physique, and many women find that focusing on cardio alone just doesn't give them the results that they want. So, what about taking clenbuterol for women? It's one of the most popular options out there for women who need to gain muscle mass quickly. Think about it: men have a metabolism that's actually 5-10% faster than that of most women, which is why it always seems much easier for men to get gains and lose weight. Because clen actually works to speed up the body's metabolism, it's a wonderful solution for women. So, women who take clenbuterol won't just lose weight at a much more rapid pace than they normally would. They'll also notice an overall increase in their energy levels. Best of all? Clenbuterol, unlike many other products on the market today, doesn't turn into testosterone. While taking products that convert to testosterone or already contain levels of testosterone will help women to get results? They'll also see unwanted side effects like faster hair growth, a bulkier muscle mass, and even changes in the deepness of the voice. With clenbuterol, women don't have to worry about any of these things. Instead, they'll see all of the benefits of testosterone, without the annoying side effects. What Is the Recommended Clenbuterol Dosage for Women? So, how much clenbuterol should women take if they want to get awesome results? If you're just getting started, we feel that a good beginner clenbuterol dosage for women is about 20 milligrams per day. While this is on the low side, it will also give you a good opportunity to understand exactly how your body responds to clen. No matter what you're taking, that's always a smart move. Remember that cycling is also a part of getting the ideal clenbuterol for women dosage. Your cycles should last for no more than six weeks. After week one, you can start gradually increasing the amount of clen that you take. For example, on the second day, you can take about 40mg, and on the third day, you can take 60mg. Keep increasing your daily dosage by about 20mg each day, and stop once you hit 140mg. Then, go ahead and cycle back down, taking 20mg fewer each time. Then, you can begin the process all over again. The Potential Side Effects of Clenbuterol Liquid for Women While we certainly wish we could tell you that you won't experience any side effects while taking clenbuterol for women, that often isn't the case. However, remember that the number and intensity of the side effects you experience will vary from woman to woman. Some might experience an off-putting amount, while others will barely notice much of anything. In a word, listen to your body, and cycle back down a bit earlier if you feel you need to. One of the most common side effects of taking clenbuterol are symptoms that are somewhat similar to the flu. This is very common when you first start taking clen, but should go away or lessen after a few weeks. You might experience shaking, soreness, a cough, and even a headache. Take a look at this list of common flu-like symptoms to learn more about what to expect. You may also experience a depletion in the overall levels of potassium in your body. Luckily, this is one of the easier fixes out there! All you need to do is take a potassium supplement. You can also check out supplements made specifically for women that help to metabolize fat, increase your muscle strength, and help to improve circulation. Don't worry -- it won't negatively interact with the clen in any way. So, what's the side effect of clen that most women will experience? Insomnia. After all, clenbuterol is a form of a stimulant, and it's more than a little stronger than your morning cup of joe. The good news is that, once your body becomes a bit more used to having clen in its system, you shouldn't experience much insomnia any longer. You can try to take it as early as possible in the morning to make it easier to fall asleep at night. Remember, if you can make it through the first few weeks, the payoff will be huge. The Benefits of Clenbuterol for Women We've briefly covered how clenbuterol works, and why it's a good option for women who don't want to run the risk of dealing with an influx of testosterone in the body. Remember that, unlike a traditional calorie deficit diet, when you take clen, you're not at risk for losing muscle mass. This is because clen works to preserve the muscles you've worked so hard to build. This is because it gives your body tons of anti-catabolic benefits, so protein synthesis is at an all-time high in the body. Another way that clen helps you to side-step that calorie deficit? By giving you much more energy than you'd normally have. If you're starving yourself to diet, there's just no way you're going to be able to get yourself to the next level in the gym. But because clen gives you a shot of energy, you'll be in great shape. More Clenbuterol Tips Now that you have a much better understanding of the benefits of clenbuterol for women, and information on the correct dosage for your needs? Let's make sure that you know what else to look out for when you decide to start taking it. Stay Hydrated First of all, it's important to remember that you're going to need to update your diet when you start taking clen. Though all athletes and bodybuilders are serious about what they eat, you'll need to take extra precautions around clen. Many people state that they've experienced more serious levels of dehydration when taking clen. So, the most important part of your diet will be your water intake. The standard 8-10 glasses per day rule may not be quite enough. Especially since you'll likely be hitting the gym even harder than usual, you'll need to drink much more water than you normally would. While energy drinks can help, make sure that they don't contain high levels of sugar. Other things you might want to consider avoiding drinking when taking clen? Alcohol and coffee. The latter, especially within the earlier stages of taking clen, will make it even tougher for you to fall asleep at night. You can try to go back to a cup a day once your sleep patterns are back under control. Alcohol will make it tough for you to maintain high energy levels -- and it's not exactly going to help you to keep lean, either. Go dry during your cycles for best results. Scrutinize Your Diet Earlier in this post, we mentioned that taking clenbuterol liquid for women could lead to a deficiency in the levels of potassium in the body. In addition to taking supplements for potassium, we also suggest that you add a few potassium-rich foods to your diet. So, what sorts of things should you be snacking on? Sweet potatoes are a delicious addition to any salad, and have an extremely high potassium content. When you need a quick snack to boost your levels, you can reach for bananas, oranges, or even apricots. Melons like cantaloupe and honeydew are also excellent potassium-rich fruits. We also suggest upping your intake of peas, cucumbers, mushrooms, and even prunes and dates. When in doubt, just throw some fruits into a blender and make yourself a fabulous smoothie. We also suggest that you increase your intake of leafy greens. This is especially important if you currently deal with conditions like anemia or any other form of iron deficiency. Kale, spinach, and even Swiss chard will all give you the iron that your body needs to get through those hardcore gym days. Finally, make sure that you add female-friendly supplements to your diet. They'll help you to achieve your goals faster, and are a great addition to a clen regimen. Are You Ready to Start Taking Clenbuterol for Women? We hope that this post has you pumped about the prospect of taking clenbuterol for women. Studies have shown men have a higher sex drive than women, but that doesn't mean women don't like to have fun too. Unfortunately, achieving an erection or orgasm can be difficult for people, but luckily there are things that help. Cialis pills are a perfect example of something that can help achieve wanted results. Cialis has been given plenty to men who experience erectile dysfunction, but it has been found there are benefits for women as well. Below are 5 life-changing benefits in using Cialis for women. Ladies, keep reading below for some fun. 1. Higher Libido While simple things such as different exercises can increase sexual libido, sometimes there just seems to be no hope for some women. No matter how attractive your spouse is or how long it's been since pleasure, certain women can't seem to get themselves excited for sex. Luckily, Cialis pills can help increase libido in women. If you are taking Cialis to increase your sex drive, take it with caution. You don't want to get too excited. 2. Greater Sensitivity Cialis creates greater blood flow to a man's penis and has similar effects for women. It increases blood flow to the labia and clitoris. Therefore, there is more sensitivity in these areas. The greater sensitivity allows for a better chance of orgasm and probably one of the best orgasms a woman has ever had. Every touch from the partner will be nice and tingly! 3. Post-Menopause Help There are some unfortunate side effects for women during and after menopause. Women undergo hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and extreme sweating. However, another negative thing a woman may experience is the decreased sex drive. While a decreased sex drive may not bother some older women, it can be a nightmare to others. Luckily for these women, Cialis pills can be of assistance. 4. Help with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is having high blood pressure in the arteries that are connected from your heart to your lungs. The clenbuterol diet plan is widely gaining acceptance in the bodybuilding community, as a tool for fast weight loss and body mass building. Legion Athletics reports that studies are confirming that the use of clenbuterol on animals and humans shows that clenbuterol can raise your resting metabolic rate and increase fat burning in the body. A study in the Biochemical Journal also noted that clenbuterol does help to retain a lean mass while you are working on a calorie deficit. This is why a clenbuterol diet, or "clen" diet as bodybuilders refer to it as is becoming popular for both weight loss and muscle building today. Read more to find out everything you need to know and eat so you can lose weight fast on the clen diet. The use of clenbuterol to increase muscle mass is not a new notion, although it is a relatively new notion for diet plans with bodybuilders today. But it was in 1989 when the Biochemical Journal found that in mice, clenbuterol works to increase muscle mass and decrease muscle glycogen concentrations. Even the mice in this study were fed a special diet when taking clenbuterol, and with a diet supplemented by both clenbuterol and propranolol. Legion Athletics says that seasoned bodybuilders claim that you can even boost your resting basal metabolic rate by as much as 10 percent. Let's look at what clenbuterol is, how the clenbuterol diet works, and what foods to focus on and avoid when starting the clenbuterol diet. There are certain dosing guidelines as well that you need to know when starting the clenbuterol diet program. Here's everything you need to know about the clen diet, and how to lose weight fast and increase body mass effectively. What is Clenbuterol? Clenbuterol is a treatment that is used for a number of purposes, but in the weightlifting communities, when used with the correct diet, it is used for weight loss and building body mass. Clenbuterol is becoming increasingly popular in the bodybuilding and weightlifting community, as an effective tool for weight loss and building lean muscle mass. Some athletes say that when you hear the word "clen" at the gym, you are hearing about the clenbuterol diet program and how clen helps weightlifters. Legion Athletics says it is the "go to" cutting treatment for bodybuilders. But how does it do that? The chemical properties of clenbuterol show that it is a beta-2adrenergic receptor, according to Style Craze. This means that this chemical functions in a similar way that adrenaline does. When adrenaline is increased, so too are heart rate and metabolic rate. If a chemical similar to adrenaline is taken, faster heart rates and faster metabolic rates lead to faster weight loss. ATP is the energy stored in the body, and the energy we use when we are working out, or even just going for a walk. When clenbuterol is taken, the beta-2 receptor results in the increase of cAMP which is a derivative of ATP. This chemical then increases the protein level activity that works to metabolize foods. In turn, this ultimately burns fat in the body at a faster rate. Why Start the Clenbuterol Diet? Now that we know the science of clenbuterol, we know that clenbuterol works to both increase metabolic rate and burn fat in the body. So there are a number of reasons to take clenbuterol. Clenbuterol is taken by those in the weightlifting communities for these specific reasons. It is taken to improve their bodybuilding sessions, to burn fat faster, and to build lean muscle mass. When taken with the right diet, clenbuterol can help bodybuilders and weightlifters achieve exactly the right results they need. The Journal of BMC Genomics found good results with clenbuterol as well, that affirms why bodybuilders are using it today. When clenbuterol was administered to stimulate anabolic rates, these researchers found that skeletal muscle growth improved, and metabolic rates increased. Legion Athletics reports that clenbuterol was originally used in 1979 as a veterinary drug. It was originally used to treat respiratory problems in horses and other animals. How clenbuterol was used was as a bronchodilator. It relaxed the muscles around horses lungs and airways and this enabled easier breathing. It functions similarly in humans, and not only leads to faster weight loss but also better breathing. This, in turn, would lead to better gym workouts. Clenbuterol has also been used in humans for other effects beyond weight loss and body mass building. It's been used in humans as asthma medication and also as a nasal decongestant. Some countries are still using it today for respiratory treatment in humans. The reason bodybuilders are using it today is for it to bind to the receptors in the body that increases epinephrine flows. This will lead to faster fat burning and weight loss. When used with the right diet, clenbuterol binds to the muscles and stimulates better muscle cutting during workouts. How To Take Clenbuterol For Weight Loss Clenbuterol must be taken in a very specific way and with a very specific diet plan in order for it to be a safe treatment. Style Craze reports that everybody from bodybuilders to celebrities and models are using it as a cutting method for weight loss and body mass improvement. Because the science of clenbuterol can create a tolerance in the body, it must be taken in cycles while on the clenbuterol diet program. When taken too often, the beta-2 adrenoreceptors are less sensitive, and will not lead to faster weight loss. Style Craze notes that it must be taken in two week or two-day cycles. That cycle includes two weeks on and two weeks off, or two days on and two days off. How much one should take depends on the individual. Sometimes liquid cialis can also be used for weight loss in bodybuilders. Clenbuterol Dosage For Weight Loss The clenbuterol diet follows a dosage plan over a two week period, and the clenbuterol diet plan can also be used for women. It's a good idea to check with your doctor before you begin this weight loss plan. Those on the clenbuterol diet program for women should take lower dosages. For a two week plan, dosages for the clenbuterol plan should begin at approximately 20 mcg on days one through five. On days six through nine, the dosage can increase to 40 mcg. From days 10 to 12 the dosage should be 60 mcg. The dosage can be increased to 80 mcg on days 13 and 14. After day 14 has passed, clenbuterol should be avoided for the next two weeks. Then the cycle can continue. The clenbuterol cycle should not be continued any more than 15 more times in one calendar year. This means that approximately 8 to 20 weeks in a calendar year should be clenbuterol free. Don't forget your safety tips for bodybuilders when you are formulating your dosage plans for clenbuterol. What a Clenbuterol Diet Plan Looks Like A clenbuterol diet plan has a percentage of different components. Testimonials on bodybuilding forums show that most bodybuilders using clenbuterol divide their diets into three components - protein, carbohydrates, and fat. In this kind of diet, protein is the center of the diet, with little carbs and just a little bit of fats present in the clenbuterol diet. One testimonial example is a bodybuilder that starts with 90 percent protein, 2 percent carbohydrates, and 8 percent fat. Another has the sections divided a little wider. In that diet, the sections are divided into 74 percent protein, 15 percent fat, and 11 percent carbs. How you determine to divide your diet depends on your personal preference and lifestyle. Remember to have more protein than anything else in your diet for the highest chances of success when using clenbuterol. Foods to Watch on the Clenbuterol Diet Program There is no one specific clenbuterol diet program, but there are guidelines that should be followed. In addition to dividing your diet into percentages of high protein/low fat/low carbohydrates, there are other guidelines to consider such as the following: o Decrease sugar content in food and drinko Reduce dairyo Eat healthy fatso Divide diet into high protein/low fat/low carbohydrates It's important to decrease the amount of high sugar food and drink in any weight loss plan, but even more important to do so in the clen diet. That is because high sugar foods increase caloric intake. This forces clenbuterol to work harder on the body and decreases its effect on weight loss. Any food that does not have a nutritional value should be eliminated when on the clen diet. Cutting empty calories such as high sugar foods will help to speed up weight loss. Fruits can be used as a substitute for sugars for bodybuilders with a sweet tooth. It is important to have some sugars in the diet in order to keep your blood sugar levels in an optimum position. One of the ways bodybuilders lose weight is when they lose water from the body quickly. Dairy products also need to be reduced because they produce the opposite effect, and can lead to bloating or increased water holding in the body. Small amounts of milk such as for cereal are okay. Consuming high protein milk would help on the clen diet. Fats and Protein on the Clen Diet When dividing the diet into the three sections, healthy fats are the ones you want to put in your fat sections. The goal of the clen diet is to burn fat fast, and consuming large amounts of high fatty foods is going to produce the opposite effect you want on the clen diet. Healthy fats include beans and legumes, peanut butter, nuts, eggs, some kinds of red meat, and salmon. Some fat is needed for the body to use testosterone, and that's what you are looking for in bodybuilding and weightlifting. Are They On Steroids recommends approximately 20 to 30 g of fat in the body daily. High protein concentrations should also be in the clen diet. Are They On Steroids recommends approximately 1 gram of protein for each pound of your bodyweight. Lean proteins are recommended but can be selected according to preference. Vegan bodybuilders should consider some of these diet tips for vegans to help with the clen diet. Clenbuterol Diet for Women There are not too many changes to the clenbuterol diet for women. Women still need to divide their diet into three specific sections of high protein/low fat/low carbohydrates. The Native Women's Association of Canada for Prohormone notes that the clenbuterol diet for women needs to be a diligent one. It can sometimes happen that more food is consumed during the two weeks that clenbuterol is being taken, and less food is consumed by the user in the two weeks off period. The Native Women's Association of Canada reports that it is important for women to stay away from this tactic. Undergoing a period where you are starving your body can lead to increased anxiety. Even in the off times, clenbuterol effects could still be happening in the body and could be speeding up some weight loss. Women on the clen diet need to keep eating in order to support lean muscle building. Women can check out additional weight loss plans backed by science to help formulate their diets when on the clen program. How Much Weight Loss Is Expected? Every weight loss program will produce results specific to the individual, and the clenbuterol diet is no exception. When you follow the right foods to eat on the clenbuterol diet, the right dosing amounts, and the right work out program, you are likely to expect good results with the "clen diet." Proper rest is important on the clen diet a well. When these guidelines are followed, many bodybuilders are saying you can expect to lose about three to four pounds a week. Follow these guidelines and find out how you can lose weight and gain muscle at the same time on the clenbuterol diet.

Have you started a fitness lifestyle and aren't seeing results? Or do you need fast results? Supplements will put you on the path to a more vigorous workout and a better physique. There are essential nutrients you need to have a great body and perform the best you can. Some of these nutrients are lacking in even the healthiest diets, which is why supplements pair well with a healthy diet. Whether you want to slim down or bulk up, there's a supplement that can help you out. But if you're bodybuilding, read this supplement guide and start using these 8 supplements for bodybuilders. 1. Protein Protein is the building blocks for our muscles. Protein helps repair your muscles after strenuous strength training. And you need more protein than you think. Your daily caloric intake must be between 20 and 30 percent protein to actually see results. If you train hard at the gym, this protein amount is required to get the results you want. The best source of protein should come from food, such as meat, nuts, and beans. But protein powder is also a great option to ensure you get the right amount of protein. Stick to whey protein. This type of protein digests fast and is ideal for after your workout. Make a protein shake mixed with fruit and vegetables. 2. Fish Oil Fish oil is famous for containing high amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA and DHA. But why are these so important? Omega-3s are necessary for your health but your body doesn't produce them naturally. Omega-3s are amazing for athletes. They help strengthen your bones, preventing injury while working out. But omega-3s are great for everyone. They make your hair and skin beautiful, increase your heart health, and improve cognitive function. The best source of omega-3 is fish. Eating fatty fish such as salmon will give you an abundance of the fatty acids. But you can take a supplement such as fish oil to ensure you're getting your daily source of omega-3. 3. Branched Chain Amino Acids Amino acids are essential to prolong athletic performance and a successful recovery. When choosing amino acid supplements, find branched chain amino acids, or BCAA. These amino acids are leucine, isoleucine, and valine. BCAA will specifically target the muscles. They help strengthen your muscles so you can exercise longer and recover faster. This will lead to increased strength and more muscle growth. In addition, BCAA will also cause increased energy and enhanced protein synthesis. Believe it or not, you already consume BCAA. These amino acids are found in meat and other protein sources. But the supplement is recommended for those who are serious about fitness. 4. Glutamine Glutamine is another amino acid that's abundance in dietary protein sources. Unlike BCAA, glutamine assists your skeletal muscles and immune system. Glutamine helps your entire body so anyone can gain benefits from glutamine. For lifters, glutamine helps build muscle mass. Glutamine supports muscle growth, reduced muscle catabolism, and gut health. When taking glutamine supplements, take them after your workout. It resynthesizes muscle glycogen. Your muscles also lose glutamine as you exercise, so taking glutamine will restore those levels. If you workout often and eat a low-carb diet, glutamine supplements are essential. This ensures you'll receive your daily dose of glutamine. But glutamine will benefit every athlete. Your muscles will grow and recover quickly, which means you'll quickly achieve your fitness goals. 5. Creatine Creatine is one of the most popular bodybuilding supplements for a reason. Creatine helps assist athletes in high-intensity workouts. Creatine is used by athletes of all sports, but namely weightlifting. Creatine maximizes your energy and helps enhance your strength and performance. Creatine also contributes to muscle size. It's often called a "cell volumizer" which makes your muscles fuller. But what is creatine? Creatine is a byproduct of amino acid metabolites. It's found in your kidneys, liver, and pancreas. But 95% of creatine is naturally stored in our skeletal muscles. This is why it has so many muscular, performance and strength benefits. 6. Beta-Alanine Beta-alanine is an amino acid, but a non-essential one. This means our bodies create it naturally, but it's still required for bodybuilding results. When beta-alanine is combined with L-histidine, carnosine is formed. Carnosine regulates the acidity in your muscles. This decreases the acidity in your muscles when your muscles are contracting. Without carnosine, your muscles won't be able to contract. In other words, your muscles will be fatigued. Carnosine breeds energy into your muscles. But why take beta-alanine? Our bodies create beta-alanine, but not enough to sustain the amount needed to reduce muscle acidity. Beta-alanine is absorbed differently than carnosine as a whole; the benefits work a lot faster when you take beta-alanine. For the most benefits, take beta-alanine with creatine. These supplements together will dramatically improve your performance. 7. Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) Conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA, is another essential fatty acid. CLA is used by a myriad of athletes because of its fat loss powers. But CLA's fat burning performance is linked to muscle gain, which is why this supplement is recommended for athletes. How does CLA help you lose weight? CLA reduces your body fat deposits. With diet and exercise, you'll quickly shed the extra weight. CLA will also help improve strength but should be taken alongside whey protein and creatine. You can get CLA naturally. CLA mainly occurs in beef and dairy. There are also oral CLA supplements available. If you want to burn fat and lose muscle, it's best to incorporate a CLA supplement into your diet. 8. Dex Amiridex, commonly known as Dex, is a form of hormone therapy that reduces the amount of estrogen in the body. The medication is famous for treating breast cancer in postmenopausal women but has also taken the bodybuilding community by storm. Dex reduces the amount of estrogen in the body, resulting in larger muscles and more strength. Dex also reduces the side effects of high estrogen, such as bloating. The supplement can be used by both male and female bodybuilders. Did This Bodybuilding Supplement Guide Help? No supplement will magically make you look jacked up and increase your strength alone.
